This project was a horror game idea from last semester of a monster I created nicknamed “The Man In The Window” Which is a terrifying blob with multiple heads coming from its blobby body that in the original game didn’t do anything, but I like the idea so much I wanted to design a game around the idea. While Designing this game I found the interest of using a kid’s toy as the main ability of the main character so designing a flashlight that with one click works normally and with the other plays a joyful kid song that tells the player if the monster is near by which I found terrifying. With these two mechanics we designed a simple MVP in Unity’s universal render pipeline to test out some lighting ideas and the outcome was this demo which we hope to flesh out.
